Sunny happy days

Lomapäivät meni nauttien aurinkoisista päivistä, löhöten, laiskotellen. Ihan parasta! Lapset piirtelivät katuliiduilla kun vähän jo pilkottaa kivetystä lumen alta. Samalla viihdytin itseäni harjoittelemalla kameran manuaalisia asetuksia auringossa.

While kids had fun with their chalks I practised manual settings. It is so hard when sun is shining. I love shooting when it's cloudy. Well, I can't give up now. Just need more practising. I'm not going back to automatic, no way. But I must say that it was much easier during winter time when it was so grey.

  6. This brought back some great memories of me and my friends playing hop scotch after we had drawn the maze. The chalks now for children are even better...love the chalk flower.

  10. Keep going with manual because the rewards are big! However, your images are always wonderful. I never would have guessed they were shot on auto. You are a great photographer.

    1. Thanks Kim! <3 I started shoot manual last autumn. But it's been so easy during the winter but I found this brightness very difficult. :)

  12. Your photos are always beautiful. I'm surprised you weren't in manual. You do so well on automatic -- can't wait to see what your photos will look like in the future! I love how the children are playing in the sun, with the bits of snow along the side. :)

    1. Thank you Sharon! <3 I've been using manual settings now 'bout half year. Last summer was my first summer with DSLR after pocket camera so I used auto settings. It's been quite easy to find right settings during winter time but now that it's so bright it's much more difficult.

I'm guilty of using the automatic option most of the times, hihihi.
